Most people don’t need to burn discs anymore, using USB keys instead. But for those who do, some may not realise you can actually burn discs straight from Windows explorer instead of a dedicated program.

To do so, open Windows explorer, and then click on the files you want to burn. In the top left corner of the screen, you should see the word “burn”. Click it, insert a disc, and then follow the prompts.

You’ll then be able to burn files without the need for a dedicated program.
