Has the battery on your iPhone or iPad ever run low when you’ve needed to use location services?

If so, there’s something you can do.

Head over the Settings menu, then hit “location services”. Down the bottom hit the “system services” option.

There, you’ll see an option to turn off location-based iAds. Doing so will enable you to continue using location software but get rid of those pesky ads.
