Once you attempt to grow, however, difficulties can set in. Without formalised systems in place, your freewheeling entrepreneurial dream can turn into a tedious slog.

Ayda Shabanzadeh and Darrin Leung, founders of Brisbane property firm Grow Consulting Group, neglected to document their processes when they took on staff, due to the associated time and cost.
