It’s a tough time to be a salesperson right now. Businesses and consumers are down on confidence, job losses are mounting, and everyone is hesitant to spend.
It’s time to get in there and support your sales team by throwing the weight of your entire organisation behind them.
How do you do this? With a sales idea blitz.
Call a lunch time meeting for all staff. Supply sandwiches, soft drink and lollies. Lock the door and ban all iPhones, iPads and netbooks.
For two hours, you are going to think about ways to sell stuff.
Here are some thought starters:
- Collate a list of all customers who received a sales proposal and didn’t buy. Hit them up again with a special discount.
- Get everyone to write a list of potential customers among their family and friends. Get staff members – regardless of whether they are sales people or not – to contact these people with a special family and friends offer.
- Hold a one-day sale with big discounts.
- Run a Facebook-only promotion.
See, that’s four free ideas right there, so get cracking with your meeting.
Get it done – today!
