There are thousands of apps available to “jailbroken” iPhones, which enable users to install unapproved applications. But now one of those apps has turned legit, looking to make a profit in the official App Store.

The Snapture application, which has counted hundreds of thousands of jailbroken users, is a camera program that builds on the features included in the iPhone’s default camera app.

The app allows users to take pictures and quickly upload them to Facebook or Twitter, use colour filters, tap to focus, take multishots and take pictures at full resolution.

Additionally, new features allow users to touch anywhere on the screen to take a photo, while new photos can be viewed in the corner of the screen.

The app is currently available on the App Store for $1.19.
