A teenager in the United States has been arrested for robbing a home and stealing possessions including a mobile phone, after he sent a picture of himself to the victim.
The robbery, which took place on October 7, saw a number of possessions stolen from the victim’s home.
But weeks after the robbery had occurred, the victim received a picture of 18-year-old Kadeem Cook holding a handgun and posing for the mobile phone’s camera.
She had received the photo due to a programming feature in her phone, which automatically sends photos taken to her desktop computer.
She released the photo, after which the person in the photo was identified as Cook. He subsequently turned himself in.
