Tech giant Apple has filed another trademark, this time for the “iTunes Live” phrase, setting forums and blogs alight with speculation about a possible new offering.

Several analysts and bloggers have said the trademark could indicate Apple is beginning to integrate the LaLa services into its flagship iTunes software.

LaLa was an internet-streaming music service that offered broadcasts of music for a few cents each, but was acquired by Apple late last year. Some analysts have said the two sites will integrate to offer a cloud-based feature of iTunes.

However, analysts have pointed out that this trademark could just be an expansion of the live music offerings already available on the iTunes Store. Some say the “iTunes Live” section could be expanded as an entirely new section of the store itself.
