LogMeIn has updated its iPhone and iPad app to allow users to control and interact with their connected computers in more comprehensive ways.

The app is a remote access program, which allows users to control office or home computers on the road while using their iPhone or iPad, to access documents or perform other tasks.

The company said in a statement the new app features direct mode navigation, which allows users to click on the screen for navigation and use their remote computers as if they were designed for multi-touch.

Another new feature is gesture-based motion switch, which allows users to switch easily between different monitors, while in-app search helps users find specific computers within their connected computers list faster.
