But The Australian Financial Review reports that the ad, which promotes Cadbury’s Dairy Milk brand, hasn’t actually boosted sales.

A new report from research company Taylor Nelson Sofres shows that Dairy Milk sales have been growing at less than 2%, while sales of its main rival Galaxy (owned by Mars Inc) are growing at 12%.

Mind you, Phil Collins has done well out of the ad – In The Air Tonight actually broke back into the top 20 singles chart and his greatest hits album re-entered the top 10.
