Twitter has given its mobile web app a significant upgrade, updating the user interface and using more elements that require the use of HTML5.
Many web businesses are now using HTML5 instead of Flash to power their apps and websites.
The upgrade now allows users to switch between their Twitter feed, mentions and direct messages through a menu at the top of the screen, while a search function is also available to look through profiles.
Features have also been included such as pull to refresh and tab switching. Twitter says the mobile app is now being rolled out to a “small percentage of users”.
