Asus has announced that it is releasing the Quad-core Transformer Pad 300 tablet computer in the US on April 22.
According to PhoneArena, the entry-level WiFi model will go on sale for $US399 with the keyboard dock available for $US149 extra, with WiFi/3G and WiFi/4G versions also available.
Features include an NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel front camera, a micro HDMI video port (for connecting a TV or HDMI computer monitor) and a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 display.
The new models were first announced at the Barcelona Mobile World Conference in February.
