The controversy over Yahoo chief executive Scott Thompson and an error that mistakenly identified him as having a degree he never received has continued.
Thompson was attacked last week by shareholder Dan Loeb, who pointed out the error. Yahoo later confirmed there was a mistake, and that it had been fixed.
However, Loeb has now demanded that the company board release more details about Thompson’s selection process by Monday in the United States, according to All Things Digital.
If Yahoo does not meet this demand, Loeb and his company “will consider it grounds for further action”.
The mistake involved Thompson having been identified as earning a computer science degree, although he only held a degree in accounting.
