Twitter has introduced its new “expanded tweets” feature overnight, which allows users to see more interactive content in tweets.

This means when users share video clips or links, they will be able to see previews of that content from within the tweet itself.

“People can preview articles from news sources like The New York Times, see images from websites like WWE and play dynamic content from broadcasters like BET,” Twitter’s Robert Weeks told Mashable.

Other partners include the New York Times, Lifetime, Dailymotion and Soundcloud, which will allow users to play audio clips from within the tweet itself.
