Rather than deny it, Power Players tell others they are afraid – usually getting others to tell the truth about their fear.
Solidarity makes things much less fearful. In fact, knowing that someone else is afraid can make you feel just that little bit more courageous – and Power Players know this better than anyone.
No one is immune to worrying about all the things that might go wrong: afraid that we have made the wrong decision; afraid that it’s all going to fall apart.
The fact is, if you stop being afraid of the really important stuff, it’s probably time to start worrying. You should be afraid. It forces a level of caution and analysis that all major decisions should carry.
