Tech TricksIf you’re operating a business blog you’re probably using WordPress – but did you know there’s a better way to update your site than to simply log in through WordPress.com?

Windows has a nifty tool called Windows Live Writer that allows you to write up a blog post within its own program and then post from there.

You need to download it from here, which is simple if you follow the prompts and then you’re ready to go.

Once it’s installed you need to go to “Add blog account” and click on “other blog service” to add a WordPress or Blogger site. You need to enter your web address, username and password.

From there you can access a rich text editor to update your posts, which is a much easier way to write a blog than by using a web browser all the time.
