Local stocks steady after mixed leads: Afternoon market insights

For the third day this week, the Australian sharemarket has barely moved. At 2pm today, the ASX200 was down 0.12% to 4354.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index gave up 0.17% to 4349.7. The Australian dollar was also largely level today, buying $US1.03685.
