Small business owners will be focus of the latest program to join the weekly SBS television guide, with the broadcaster announcing details of its Small Business Secrets program this morning.
The weekly program, which will be broadcast on Sunday evenings at 5pm from July 31, will aim to “offer tips and insights into the roller-coaster of conceiving and running a small business in Australia”, SBS said in a statement.
Small Business Secrets will be hosted by SBS finance editor and World News presenter Ricardo Goncalves and produced by Whitney Fitzsimmons, who has previously presented for ABC News and Business Today.
SBS said each episode of the program will profile a number of small businesses, from “those who have weathered financial storms” to “those just starting out”.
“In the process it will reveal how small businesses are fuelling Australia’s economy and show how you can turn your business into reality,” the broadcaster said.
SBS will also launch a website to accompany the program. The website will publish videos and articles and contain a “Small Business Toolbox”, which SBS describes as an interactive resource to help business owners get the most out of their businesses.
