According to research out this week, a quarter of all US tech start-ups were launched by an immigrant.

Given the recent success of several Aussies in Silicon Valley, it’s safe to assume that Australia would be well-represented in this tally.

But it’s not just the US tech scene where Australian entrepreneurs are finding success overseas – our innovators are finding opportunities in areas such as clean energy, retail and financial services too.
