Telco giant Telstra has signed a 10-year deal with Coca-Cola Amatil that will see the company cover all of CCA’s telecommunications needs.
“Telstra and CCA are both focused on changing the way people and organisations work. We look forward to playing a key role across CCA, from customer service distribution, contact centre solutions and mobile voice and data services,” Telstra chief executive David Thodey said in a statement.
The deal, which is reportedly worth over $150 million, will see Telstra provide mobile voice and data services for mobile handsets including BlackBerry devices.
But it will also include support from Telstra to support Coca Cola’s plans for new vending machines, which the company hopes will eventually be cashless.
CCA managing director Terry Davis said in a statement the deal will help the company deliver the “Coca-Cola Amatil Supply Chain of the Future”, with an emphasis on “vending machines and coolers”.
