Always work with kids and animals.
Other online companies played it more conservative, with the E Trade baby once again getting some laughs, while domain company GoDaddy.co awkwardly showed the 77-year-old Joan Rivers in a small singlet and short shorts. America’s game
Instead of seeking a quick laugh, Chrysler aimed at the patriotic, American heart strings. As US rapper Eminem drives through the rundown city of Detroit, we hear the deep voice of the narrator who asks, “What does a town that’s been to hell and back know about the finer things in life?” before Eminem announces, “This is the motor city, this is what we do”.
The commercial, which is advertising the new Chrysler 200 finishes with the slogan ‘Imported from Detroit’.

Film meets the app
The cleverest ad was for upcoming movie, Rio. Using interaction rather the traditional one way communication, the ad included an activation code for a secret level of popular iPhone game, Angry Birds. Gamers who complete the level have the chance to attend the world premiere of Rio in Brazil next month. This has caused significant buzz online for both the Angry Birds game and the movie, which will be realised in cinemas soon.
