Turbocharge your business in 2014: Join us for our breakfast events in Sydney and Melbourne

The Sensis® Business Index Survey Results will be revealed – find out how to use these insights and move on from the uncertain conditions of 2013. Make 2014 a brilliant year for you and your business.

Elections can be a challenge to business confidence, but entrepreneurs should never wait for permission to thrive. So SmartCompany and Sensis invite you to move on from the pre-election uncertainty of 2013 and join us for an intimate breakfast.

Christena Singh, author of the Sensis® Business Index will unveil the highly anticipated survey results, share current confidence levels of the SME community and their priorities for the future.

After 20 years of business journalism across continents, with her most recent role as editor of BRW, Kate Mills recently founded her own business, Professionalmums.net, an online community for working mothers who specialise in professional services.

Drawing on her extensive networks and passion for helping other women in business, Kate will join us at our Sydney event to share her thoughts on what’s in store for business owners in 2014, along with some advice for what we can all be doing to grow bigger, stronger businesses.

Peter Strong, executive director of the Council of Small Business of Australia will join us at our Melbourne event to discuss how smart companies can get past their gripes about red tape, and instead focus on turbocharging their businesses for 2014.

He has worked for the Australian Government and with Australian NGOs and as a consultant to the World Bank and the United Nations. In addition to COAG, Peter participates in various advisory groups including the National Panel for Economic Reform, the Australian Tax Commissioners Advisory Group and similar groups with the ACCC, ASIC, the Department of Innovation and others.

Both the Sydney and Melbourne events will be moderated by SmartCompany acting editor Melinda Oliver, who’ll give attendees plenty of opportunity to share their views and question the experts.

Over breakfast and coffee, this is the perfect chance to network, share stories and get inspired for 2014.
