Following on from the Prime-Ministers delegation to China for Australia Week, this coming May Australian Business Forum will undertake a China Business Mission with the presentation of Australia-China Business Week 2014 (ACBW).

This high profile business mission will be staged in Tier-1 Chinese cities, Guangzhou and Shanghai from the 26th-30th of May and is supported by Austrade, DFAT and AUSTCHAM and is presented by National Australia Bank.

ABF (Australian Business Forum) is an independent, Australian organisation, which supports the Australian business sector through anticipating its knowledge needs and facilitating dialogue, business and partnerships. With a focus on Sino-Australian trade, ABF is committed to providing high-level networking events that give businesses and individuals alike the ability to engage with China more effectively.

Demonstrating that commitment, ABF’s China Business Mission will provide Australian SMEs with the opportunity to meet high net-worth Chinese delegates, establish key contacts and networks in two key economic and first tier cities with a combined population in excess of thirty-five million people.

The ABF China Business Mission includes three days in Guangzhou and two days in Shanghai and is ideally positioned for early entry or companies already engaged in China. Highlights of the mission include:

  • Attending AustCham Shanghai’s Annual Awards Dinner which gathers over 850 business executives from all over China.
  • Attending AustCham Guangzhou Networking Drinks with the Australian Consul-General in Guangzhou, AustCham members in Guangzhou and Shenzhen and other key AustCham connections.
  • ACBW 2014 Guangzhou Investment Showcase, dedicated to business matching, local relationship building and an opportunity for Australian SMEs to showcase their products to local Chinese SMEs, investors and companies.
