It’s another Oscar Wilde gem. Nothing is static. Neither are people.

Each of us has a past. Each of us has a future that has yet to unfold. For some of us, our best days are behind us. If you’re anything like me, you’re hopeful that your best days are ahead of you.

People who are good today may be that way because of a sordid past. A person who is bad today always has the chance to be a better person tomorrow.

Don’t be too quick to judge people. Find out a little bit about where they’ve come from and who they are. None of us stays the same. And Power Players know this.

When it comes to people, they try to see the whole picture. Rarely is a person black and white. Most of us are shades of grey. And most of us try to be better and do better – especially when we know we’ve done evil.

There are saints and sinners in all of us. Anyone who appears saintly, you can surely bet has some skeletons in the closet and anyone who comes across as a bad person, is probably capable of real decency.

Remember this before you brand someone good or bad. None of us is entirely one or the other.
