If they’re in, they’re all in. Sitting on the sidelines isn’t for them. They know they can make the greatest difference to a situation when their sleeves are rolled up and their minds are squarely in the game.

The old adage about winners always wanting the ball has never been truer than in this power play.

To be a great Power Player and a thoughtful leader, you need to be where the game is being played. You need to be in the room, in the conversation and able to play a role in helping make the right decision.

If you find that your natural tendency is to sit on the sidelines and live on the fringes, maybe it’s time to step up to the main game.
