There are so many ways in today’s business world to avoid making the tough decisions.

You can hire people to do an ‘efficiency study in order to downsize’; you can render absolutely no opinion on a situation and let people wallow in a pool of indecision; or you can take a ‘personal day’ and avoid the whole damn thing.

They don’t disappear when important decisions need to be made and better still, they shoulder the responsibility for whatever goes down.

Backbone is a quality all too rare in the corporate jungle. Take a lesson from the Power Playbook, and look to grow some backbone of your own.
