The silly season should be a small business season, says Small Business Minister Julie Collins, who has once again contributed to SmartCompany‘s annual Holiday Gift Guide.
Last year, Minister Collins recommended Urban Attic earrings, and this year she has three more suggestions for those wanting to shop small these holidays.
Books always make for a great Christmas gift and Hobart is home to some wonderful local independent bookstores – Fullers in the city and the Hobart Bookshop in Salamanca are my favourites.
I am a big fan of Ted & Tilly earrings, which also make a great stocking filler for someone special in your life.
This year I was also able to pick up a lot of great gifts at the Tasmanian Made Markets which showcases a lot of amazing local makers throughout the year.
