Tech trend on converting PowerPoint to videoPowerPoint slideshows are great for presentations and other types of meetings, but sometimes you might want to use a video instead, especially if you need to show someone slides and they don’t have Office installed on their computer.

Using Office 2010 you can easily change PowerPoint presentations into videos. First, once you’ve created the slideshow click on File and then “Save and Send”.

You’ll be shown a few different options – you’ll want to choose “Create a video”. You can then choose the size of the video and some extras, like whether you want to add narrations or not.

Then select a location to save the video. As the video converts and saves you will be shown the progress of the file in the main PowerPoint screen.

After that, you’re done. The film will be saved as a WMV file and can be played through Windows Media Player.
