There’s nothing more frustrating than when you’re separating eggs for a mixture and a bit of yolk finds its way into the bowl of whites. However, a nifty device from Swiss company Kuhn Rikon makes the task quick and easy.
Two cups are clipped together with an egg separator sieve. Eggs are cracked on the edge of the device and the whole egg is poured into the sieve. The white then flows into the cup and the yolk can be tipped into the other cup.
Kuhn Rikon has been in business for more than 70 years, producing high quality pressure cookers and kitchen tools.
“Our quality is a result of both our superior technology and our superior people, dedicated to bringing you the best in Swiss design,” the company says.
Simple solutions for the kitchen are always welcomed by working mums and chefs alike, so maybe there’s a need for more devices of this nature.
