If you’re using Tweetdeck regularly you’ll know it’s an efficient way to keep track of your tweets.

But every so often you may find that you’ve tweeted something that gets retweeted by a number of other users. While this is all well and good, these retweets may show up in your updates when there’s really no need for them to.

Thankfully, there is a way to hide these retweets.

To do so, open the settings window by clicking the wrench icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Click on “twitter” on the left hand side of the window, then click the “hide repeated retweets” box.

Hiding these will save you room on your column and will prevent you from being spammed with the same message over and over again.
