It’s the beginning of the year, and you may want to start yours off on a good foot. One way to do that – at least, digitally – is to give your computer a quick cleanup.

To do so on Windows, head to the Start menu, and then hit “all programs”, “accessories”, and then “disk cleanup”.

After that, the cleanup utility will detect your drives and then give you an indication of how much size you stand to regain.

Once you choose your files and folders you want to cleanup, (double check), then hit “cleanup system files”. It’ll take a little while, but you’ll regain some of your space back.
