tech-tricksFacebook released a desktop chat application this year, and it’s been pretty popular among users who like to communicate with colleagues through the social network.

But opening the window can be annoying, especially when it’s hovering in the middle of the screen. You can actually snap it to the side of the screen in order to make things a little bit neater.

In the bottom right-hand corner of the Facebook chat, there’s a little button with two boxes. Press it, and your chat window will snap to the right side of the screen.

Your other windows will compensate, so they’ll snap flush alongside the Facebook chat bar instead of the edge of the screen.
