Tokii.com is an app that gives couples a place to describe moods, send electronic love notes and take quizzes to gauge their stances on topics such as parenting and religion.

The goal of this new kind of online interaction is not for a user to accumulate friends or amass followers but to strengthen ties between partners.

“Whether you’re just getting to know someone new or hitting the 10-year anniversary mark with your significant other, Tokii facilitates communication,” it says on iTunes.

Users can play games to help them discover something about themselves, gain insight into how their partner is thinking or predict each other’s answers to ascertain how closely they’re matched.

As couples struggle to spend enough quality time together, perhaps there’s a demand for this sort of platform. Can you think of other ways you can help couples communicate?
