One of the biggest complaints about computers is that they take far too long to start-up after being turned on. But there’s one way you can change this.
You can actually turn off some of the programs that start up when the computer is turned on. But you need to be wary – some of these programs are essential and you should never turn things off if you don’t know what they do.
Go to the start menu, and then type “msconfig” in the run box, and hit enter. There, once the system configuration window has opened, open the “startup” tab.
There you should be able to pick and choose which programs you want to start up when the computer boots. But remember – some of these programs are vital and you need to know what you’re doing. Something like iTunes is okay, but for anything else ask a more experienced person if you don’t know what you’re doing.
