The Winkelvoss twins haven’t given up on getting more money from Facebook, with rowing champions Cameron and Tyler contesting a recent ruling against them and calling for a rehearing before a larger panel of the US Court of Appeals.
This month, a three-judge appeals court said a $65 million cash and stock settlement with Facebook was “quite favourable” to the Winkelvosses.
But the twins continue to argue that the social networking company did not reveal an accurate picture of its financial health at the time of the accord, Bloomberg reports.
The Winkelvosses accuse Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg of stealing their idea for a social networking site.
