DropBox, the four-year old file-sharing and backup company has revealed its users are saving over one million files every five minutes.
Speaking at the Startup Lessons Learned conference in San Francisco, chief executive Drew Houston says users are saving over 300 million files a day and overall, users have saved 100 billion files.
According to Mashable, Houston also revealed some growth statistics – the company has added 35 employees in the past year, and 50% of staff is made up of software engineers.
DropBox has also found popularity in allowing its software to be integrated with several other apps, allowing users to access their files on devices such as the iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones as well.
