Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has confirmed that he will continue to work with start-ups, taking a job as strategic advisor at early investor fund Spark Capital.

In a statement the Twitter co-founder said that he will be working with the company to source new firms in Silicon Valley.

“In this role, Biz will help us think through and evaluate new investment opportunities,” partner Bijan Sabet said in the statement. “Additionally he will provide us with valuable insight about our current portfolio companies as well.”

Stone recently announced he would step back from his duties at Twitter, prompting speculation about the company’s management and future.
