While the market was shocked yesterday by Steve Jobs’ announcement he would be stepping down as Apple’s chief executive, markets have calmed overnight with Apple shares only falling 1%.
But with the news of Job’s resignation now soaking in, it’s a good time to look back at some of the co-founder’s biggest moments – here are 10 of them, captured on video.

The rivalry between Microsoft and Apple has been well publicised for as long as personal computers have been marketed to the public. Here Jobs boils down exactly what he thinks is wrong with the company:
“The only problem with Microsoft is that they have no taste.” Ouch.
Stanford commencement address

Jobs has never talked much about his family life or early history. This 2005 commencement address to Stanford students sees him describe three different stories about his life, his career and some of the losses he’s experienced.
He reminds students to continue to have vision and to “stay hungry, stay foolish”.
