Apple has patented a new type of device that may allow users to transform their gadgets into one or more forms.

According to the patent, the device in question is a “clutch barrel antenna for wireless electronic devices”.

The patent explains that the gadget would allow users to connect two separate devices and then attach antennas to them. Additionally, the patent explains that devices using the gadget would be able to transform and rotate their displays.

While the patent itself does not describe a gadget this would be used for, such a gadget would allow laptop computers to turn into tablets.
