Nokia may sell two million Lumia phones in fourth quarter

Nokia may sell two million units of its new Lumia smartphones in the fourth quarter of the year, new research from Deutsche Bank has predicted.

The move comes despite a number of other analysts disagreeing and downplaying sales expectations for the new phone.

Deutsche Bank analysts wrote that they still believe the company could sell as many as two million units, with the phone being one of the first distributed featuring the Windows Phone software.

Nokia has been attempting to restructure its business for some time, with a Microsoft partnership a significant part of that plan. It has scrapped thousands of jobs as it attempts to cut down on costs and release top-of-the-line units.
