Internet giant Google has launched a new “style guide” for developers looking to make programs on the Android operating system.

The company has released the “Android Design” website that showcases tools and other help for developers wanting to create new apps.

The design document is intended to help developers make programs that gel with the user interface in Android 4.0.

Google told The Verge the site is “the place to learn about principles, building blocks, and patterns for creating world-class Android user interfaces”.

Google also told the publication the site is designed to be updated regularly.
