Apple is still negotiating with film studios over its move last week to introduce movies into its existing iCloud platform, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The announcement was made with only four of the six major film studios on board, the publication states, with Twentieth Century Fox and Universal Pictures still in negotiations.
However, the publication also states part of the delay is due to issues with HBO and its licenses with the major studios. A solution is in the works that may allow users download exclusive ocnten as long as they had purchased that content before it moved to HBO.
The system will eventually allow films to be stored in the cloud and then viewed on any Apple device.
