Senior executives from Apple and Samsung have failed to reach a resolution during talks over smartphone patents, according to a report in the Korea Times.
According to the report, Samsung CEO Choi Gee-sung met with his Apple counterpart Tim Cook in an attempt to settle outstanding patent disputes without further legal action, as mandated by the Northern District Court of California.
However, after two days of talks, the negotiations collapsed with neither side willing to compromise.
The talks came one month after both parties agreed to the negotiations, and two months after Apple first proposed a cross-licensing agreement between the companies.
