Just 2% of Facebook’s local business page users have used the promoted post program, according to new figures released by the social media giant.
According to CNet, the social media firm also revealed that it has reached 13 million local business pages, with 300,000 having promoted at least one post.
Around 2.5 million posts from local business pages have been promoted in total.
The social media giant also revealed that around 150 million users view the pages each day, with around half of the traffic coming from mobile devices.
