The Amarok Development Team is looking for beta testers ahead of the release of version 2.6 of the open source Amarok music player.

Lead developer Myriam Schweingruber made the request after the project released the first beta version of the music player.

The developers are asking testers to focus on new features, and have compiled a list of tests that need to be performed ahead of the release.

Key features included in the new version include improved integration with the Amazon Store, the inclusion of Free Music Charts by default, and improved iPod integration.
